DO YOU HAVE AN OUTLET NOT WORKING?
It may be a switched outlet.
If you have an outlet not working, you may have a switched outlet. If your outlet is on a switch, only the top ½ of your plug is controlled by a wall switch; therefore it’s only hot when you flip the wall switch to the on position. The bottom ½ is hot all the time.
